Dr. Alejandro G. Cabrera is a vascular surgeon and internationally recognized expert in phlebology, with over three decades of experience in venous disease management and minimally invasive treatments. He is the Founder and CEO of the Institute of Vein Technology (USA) and Medical Director of Veintec Varicose Vein Clinics.
Dr. Cabrera has been a pioneer in the development and implementation of Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT) in Latin America, contributing to the transition from traditional surgery to modern outpatient venous care. He is actively involved in medical education, training physicians worldwide through hands-on programs, international courses, and academic initiatives focused on venous interventions and clinical excellence.
